A handcrafted sculpture of an owl, featuring one of the famous phrases of Greek Athenian philosopher Socrates, the first moral philosopher and the one credited as one of the founders of Western philosophy. Companion animal of Athena’―goddess of reason’—and revered in antiquity as the personification of wisdom, today this serious-looking bird is considered a protector of homes.
